Inside: Palm Jumeirah’s Nakheel Mall
The exciting new mall is coming into its final stages sinces construction started in 2015. Residents of the luxury community in Dubai have been eagerly waiting for a first glimpse of thier neigbourhood shopping destination.
Set over 4.5 million square feet, Nakheel Mall will span five floors and play host to over 350 retail shops, restaurants and leisure attractions, with underground parking space to accommodate 4,000 vehicles.
The mall will also feature two breathtaking waterfalls that cascade down 65 feet into the mall and a fine-dining rooftop plaza with epic views of the Palm, Arabian Gulf and Dubai skyline.
What To Expect
Food and Beverage
No Dubai mall is complete without a food hall and the new one at Nakheel looks will be a surprise on the senses, with renders showing a coffee roastery, a bakery and some artisanal food sections. It’s named ‘Depachika’, which is the Japanese word describing the basement of department stores where food and groceries are sold. Get ready to come home with a basket filled with goods you don’t really need but just had to buy.
Whether the success of British supermarket chains M&S and Waitrose it’s no surprise the Nakheel Mall will be getting its very own slice of the british isles as Waitrose decends on the man made island. Along with E City for all your electrical household items, youll be roasting and baking in no time!
When you’re on the Palm Jumeirah one is never far from a delicous eatery. So it comes with no suprise that a new state of the art fitness centre will also be situated in the mall to work off all those calories!
Fitness First is definitely a Dubai fitness institution, with over 24 branches around the city, offering up classes to suit everyone from yoga to boxing. There’s already a branch on the Golden Mile, but now you’ll be able to squeeze in a workout pre or post shopping trip as the popular gym opens in Nakheel Mall.
A store for everyone. This mall has considered its local residents every requirement with all your favorite stores including, Borders, H&M, Puma, Sephora and a firm favorite with the younger visitors The Toy Store. Whilst this only lists a few of the confirmed retail outlets the full list will be avaiable in the coming weeks.
Dubai London Clinic
With five branches around Dubai already, a sixth Dubai London Clinic and Speciality Hospital branch will be opening in Nakheel Mall soon. The healthcare provider offers everything from cosmetic to standard health consultations and has been established in Dubai for over 30 years.
Opening in 2020…
Palm Tower is set to open in the latter part of 2020 and will come complete with a 289-room St. Regis hotel, 432 luxury apartments, a swanky 50th floor swimming pool, a fine-dining rooftop plaza on the 52nd floor and a top-floor viewing deck. Stretching 240 metres in the sky and accessed by the mall – it’s definitely one to bookmark for any visitors.
